Free Fall Leaf Pickup

Free Fall leaf collection begins October 17 and runs through December 2nd. No waste sticker needed. Yard waste pick up will end on December 2nd also.

Bundled brush collection will end on November 4th.

Canterbury Park

Thank you to the Fox Valley Park District who delivered and spread several loads of sand and mulch around the playground equipment.  They also sprayed for weed control last Friday and ran the line trimmers along the public sidewalk parallel to the streets when they mowed this week.

Mulch has been added.
Sand added to the sandbox.

Neighborhood Clean-Up Day

A clean-up day will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2022 8 am-11 am for Orchard Valley residents. Trash compactor trucks will be placed in our neighborhood at Deerfield Drive and Canterbury road.

Accepted items: building materials, empty or dried out paint cans, discarded furniture, large and small household appliances, carpet & pads, grills, wood, metal, old toys, bicycles,mattresses & similar items. *NO ELECTRONICS*

Volunteers are needed to assist. Please contact Alderman Franco @ 630.631.4296.

Scouts to Post American Flags

Post the Colors 2022 Program American flags will be flying once again in Orchard Valley thanks to Troop 11 Scouts and their patriotic sponsors. The boys would be honored to include your home.*

Please let us know If you would like to subscribe to the service where we post a US flag in front of your house from roughly 7am until 7 pm on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day (6/14), Independence Day, and Labor Day. We do all the work and all you do is watch and enjoy. The subscription service is only $25 for the year.

This is our only fundraiser. We were able to buy camping equipment with the funds last year.

If you are interested, click on the link below and follow the steps to purchase by April 30th. All contact information will be confidential and used for posting/collecting flags only. This is the easiest and safest way during this time. Also, reply to this message so I can double check that you were included.
