We had a great turnout for Breakfast with Santa with many families donating to the OVHA Food Drive. We delivered over 280 pounds of food in our collection to the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry who in return sent over this email:

I would like to thank you on behalf of Marie Wilkinson’s food pantry for such a generous donation of over 280 pounds of food. I would also like to than you for the offer of toys for our families. With the donation you gave/ are giving we will be able to serve so many families over the holiday season! Please let me know if there are any volunteer projects you would be interested in , I would love to host a group of you guys in our pantry. Our drop off times are from 8:30-2:30 Monday through Friday. Please let me know a good time to receive the toys. Many thanks and Happiest Holidays!

Due to a great response this years Breakfast with Santa has reached maximum capacity. We will not be able to honor walkins. Only those who have replied via RSVP will be admitted.
The Aurora Festival of Lights runs from November 25 through December 25 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. nightly at Phillips Park, 1000 Ray Moses Dr. The Aurora Festival of Lights –the largest free outdoor drive-through holiday light display in the region – returns for its 16th year with dazzling displays and merry music that will delight children and adults.
Today, Sunday November 27th, flyers will be delivered and hung on the front door to each home for this years Breakfast with Santa on December 10th.

This year we will be helping a local Food Pantry so we will be having a Food Drive.
Aurora kicks off the holiday season this weekend with Winter Lights Aurora, the annual festive, family-friendly, and free experience filled with memory-making moments.
Hosted by the City of Aurora in partnership with Aurora Downtown, Winter Lights 2022 commences on Friday, November 18, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with activities centered on Downer Place & Stolp Avenue in downtown Aurora.
This weekend it’s time to turn back the clocks.
Free Fall leaf collection begins October 17 and runs through December 2nd. No waste sticker needed. Yard waste pick up will end on December 2nd also.
Bundled brush collection will end on November 4th.
